Aquastar - Automated Backwash Valves

All manufacturing, assembly and testing is done at our facilities for quality assurance.
Praher has been successfully developing and manufacturing automatic backwash since 1982.

"Aquastar" systems provide automatic backwashing and rinsing , by a pressure sensor, timer, or both. Backwashing iscated by the back pressure developed in the filter tank, or by a timer. "Aquastar" actuators are mounted to 1 1/2", 2" or 3" PRAHER multiport valve.

The controller controls the valve actuator and the filter's pump. The controller shuts off the pump during actuator positioning. The field adjustable pressure sensor, and the backwash and rinse time potentiometers allow system fine tuning (Backwash cycle 1-11 minutes and rinse cycle 20 sec.-1 min.).

Only 1 1/2" and 2" valve actuators are available with manual override handles for emergency hand operation.

All systems are manufactured to DIN and ISO 9001 standards.
